Uterine Myoma and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)<\/strong> At the age of 23 I began to have a lot of pain in my menstrual periods, I consulted my gynecologist and I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts and a fibroid in the womb, the doctor’s recommendation was surgery. Prostate Cancer:<\/strong> I want to share my experience because I want the general public to know that CANCER is not the end of life. I am an Acupuncturist, and for me it was a wakeup call to take better care of myself! After a Urinary Infection I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. My options according to my medical doctor and surgeon were as follows: 1) Prostate Surgery that included removing my lymph nodes and tissue around the prostate. 2) Radiation or Chemotherapy to make sure the cancer has been removed. 3) Medication in the form of pills to help with the side effects of the surgery, chemo and\/or radiation. I was told EMPHATICALLY and FORCEFULLY that I had to do this procedure as soon as possible because cancer is a deadly disease and has to be attacked right away and cancer cannot be healed. Of course, after all this there were no guaranties that I would be cancer free. I practice Oriental Medicine so I know from personal experience, and that of my patient\u2019s, that our bodies are capable of healing themselves naturally, when we help and give them a chance. Lucky for me, a couple of weeks earlier I had met Richard Smithee, an acupuncturist in Guaymas, so when the BAD news was given to me I called Richard for an appointment. When he asked, \u201cHow can I help you?\u201d I told him \u201cI need a miracle\u201d and handed him the paper with the diagnosis, he read it and said, \u201cLet me share with you \u2013 everybody has cancer cells in their body, even babies; the difference between an active cancer and an inactive cancer is determined by the strength of our immune system. Migraine Headaches:<\/strong> I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for Richard Smithee and the medical help he has given me. When I first met Richard he was immediately able to see, even without asking me, that I was suffering medically. When he asked how I was feeling I sensed that he really cared and was not just asking out of politeness. I explained to him about the migraine headaches I had been suffering with since a child and he immediately told me he could help. I had recently been hospitalized on an emergency basis for a migraine. The treatment was ineffective. Bipolar Disorder (Manic-Depressive Disorder):<\/strong> When I was 14 years old I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and placed under medical-psychiatric care for one year suffering with strong depression. Pain \u2013 Low Back\/Legs, Fingers\/Hands\/Wrists (Waiting for surgery):<\/strong> I am writing this at 8 A.M. Sunday morning, because I can\u2019t wait to tell you on Wednesday. Last night after my 5th treatment I was able to move m left leg up to rest above my right knee. I said a prayer. I hadn\u2019t been able to do this for over 5 months. This morning I was able to do stretching exercises without pain. Then when I raised my left leg to rest on my right knee to tie my shoe, I was elated.
