Prostate Cancer:<\/strong> I want to share my experience because I want the general public to know that CANCER is not the end of life. I am an Acupuncturist, and for me it was a wakeup call to take better care of myself! After a Urinary Infection I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. My options according to my medical doctor and surgeon were as follows: 1) Prostate Surgery that included removing my lymph nodes and tissue around the prostate. 2) Radiation or Chemotherapy to make sure the cancer has been removed. 3) Medication in the form of pills to help with the side effects of the surgery, chemo and\/or radiation. I was told EMPHATICALLY and FORCEFULLY that I had to do this procedure as soon as possible because cancer is a deadly disease and has to be attacked right away and cancer cannot be healed. Of course, after all this there were no guaranties that I would be cancer free. I practice Oriental Medicine so I know from personal experience, and that of my patient\u2019s, that our bodies are capable of healing themselves naturally, when we help and give them a chance. Lucky for me, a couple of weeks earlier I had met Richard Smithee, an acupuncturist in Guaymas, so when the BAD news was given to me I called Richard for an appointment. Migraine Headaches:<\/strong> I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for Richard Smithee and the medical help he has given me. Bipolar Disorder (Manic-Depressive Disorder):<\/strong> When I was 14 years old I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and placed under medical-psychiatric care for one year suffering with strong depression.
